Coffee and Conversation

September 6, 2018

To have coffee with someone is one of my favorite experiences. It is a time to stop, connect and enjoy.

I do not have high expectations of what it will happen, and generally it is very pleasant. To tell you the truth I don’t even care about the coffee and rarely the place; what I enjoy is the aroma, the intimacy and the time the other person shares with me.

For me pleasure does not come from anything exotic or spectacular, but from these details that fill me up with contentment, something like a coffee.

I enjoy the honey like aroma: sweet, sticky and a beautiful color, I also enjoy the cinnamon and white of the foam that seems to me like a painted cloud, a soft texture that invites me to jump in.

It adds to this pleasure the company of whoever takes the time to stop and spend time with me, to talk to me about his feeling, his desires, his pains, his joys, his people who are with him and also those who are no longer in his life.

The conversation is always the protagonist, it doesn’t matter the subject, it doesn’t matter the emotion nor the people around, it is all about enjoying the moment charged with intimacy, stories and fantasies.

Each day, I appreciate more these moments in my life and I am grateful to all of you who have given me the time to have a coffee and a conversation.

Gratitude to those who give themselves the time to have a coffee and a conversation
