As children magic opens a door to a world full of fantasy. While in magic, we are allowed to believe in the impossible. We become extraordinary beings.
Magic is part our daily life, it happens in places in our imagination and these places are enigmatic. Magic happens when we need to be rescued, or when we need to become phenomenal beings. Magic gives us the freedom to create the world we want when we need it.
And if magic were possible?
Give yourself a minute, close your eyes and imagine: what would you ask for? What would you solve? Who would you share it with? How would it be to be a true magician?
Just the thought of becoming magical beings helps us to regain the illusion we had as children. This illusion stays in our bodies like a tingling sensation and shows up in our faces in the form of a smile that changes our expression. It shows up in our hands because we feel them, in our feet because we realize where we are, in our hearts because it beats faster and in our breath because it becomes deeper.
Magic doesn’t have to be true to be felt; it helps us to create dreams, worlds that are not here and help us to feel safe and brave.
So now, I invite you to close your eyes, take a deep breath and just imagine … it doesn’t have to be true.
