I Want to Be Free!

Claims of freedom are at the center of personal development, and like any other personal development process it requires extensive and deep exploratory questions. Some of the questions that arise from this claim are:

What do you want to be free of? What do you want to be free for? Who is stopping you from being free?

Many times, questions like these allow us to understand the little clarity we have under such of a strong claim. We have a hard time recognizing that our freedom is linked to the freedom of others, that freedom has its limitations and that many times these limitations are self-imposed. Our freedom is within arm´s reach and it has it costs. Our freedom is part of a search that leads to deeper self-examination about what we do and what we don’t do, what we feel and what we don’t feel, the world around us and the world that lives inside of us.

The search for freedom is a constant task that pushes us to ask ourselves important questions about our values and commitments.

Ask yourself, what is freedom for me?

I invite you to explore this question seriously and carefully. Hold this question as part of the search you will have in your life, as a subject to explore with others, and when you feel you are ready, take charge of your own freedom!
