Last year I started to offer a personalized coaching program called “Give Yourself Time, Come to Barcelona.” This program offers Barcelona as a beautiful city and time as a great gift that you can give to yourself.
This program invites you to take a trip not to avoid yourself or have instant gratification of the experiences during the trip; on the contrary, this program is focused on stopping and looking without haste or pressure to follow what you want, how you want it and if you want it.
While thinking of what I wanted to create with this program, I stepped on an interesting book called Sapiens, A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari and in the book the author mentions trips as a Romantic Consumerism making a direct relation with our great capacity to create realities and fictions that make our world work.
Somehow we have bought into the idea that to travel will change us, will transform our reality, will makes us happier, and we will be renovated by the end of it. However, this is not the case for all our trips, and this is not the case for everyone.
Many times in our trips we seek to get out so we don’t have to confront, or get away so we can disappear, or leave so we do not have to do anything, or leave because we do not know how to continue.
That is why this program might be an opportunity for you. Give Yourself Time is all about exploring what is happening to you, so you can flourish in what you want, or let go what is stopping you.
Give Yourself Time is an opportunity to become aware of time and give yourself what you need.
Some people have mentioned that trips are to have fun, to enjoy, to take a break, or just to see something different. And this is exactly what this program is all about; the difference is that it will be what you want, when you want it and how you want it.
